This gorgeous Foxcroft senior wanted an urban backdrop for her senior portrait. We picked Georgetown for the location because it offers a variety of backdrops. Everything from waterfront, graffiti, to stopping traffic in a busy street. We had multiple outfit changes. Our evening gowns are designed to make our seniors feel extraordinary during their portrait session. If you ask me she rocked this red dress! When shooting an urban session its important to have a game plan and a driver! I normally ask mom to be our Uber driver because nobody has time to look for a parking spot. We are always racing to get as many images as possible before the sun sets.

Its great to be spontaneous and have the flexibility to jump out of the car and grab a few portraits. I do recommend a game plan to pick the desired location for sunset. The light can be so magical. We picked the Francis Scott Key Bridge and the Kennedy Center as a backdrop for this portrait. I feel like she almost looks like an opera singer in this ball gown.
