There’s something timeless about the way a child plays and how their imagination can transform the simplest objects into wonder. Recently, I had the joy of photographing a little boy as he immersed himself in a world of make-believe, with nothing more than a vintage airplane in hand.

He pushed the plane through the air, mimicking the sound of engines roaring. Every twist and turn of the airplane was met with a corresponding laugh or cheer.

Each photograph captured a different moment of play.
